This episode’s guest is sound artist Joseph Kamaru aka KMRU. Kamaru studies Artist and SoundS at the UdK Berlin. In addition to several album releases (Logue, 2021, Injazero Records / Peel, 2020, Editions Mego / Place: Nairobi, 2021, Place:) and installations, he plays his music live internationally and presented his unique approach to field recordings at the Ableton Loop Summit 2020.
For this music set we used, among other things, different field recordings that we collected.
