Blats says: My fascination with Bhangra, especially the UK hybrid version, has been with me for a while now. It all began when I discovered Bindu on Multitone and the Love 2 Love trilogy on Audiorec.
The rhythmic beats, often driven by the dhol and combined with elements of hip-hop and house, really resonate with me.
Sometimes, those uncommon sounds can feel a bit much, but if you take the journey, it all makes sense.
