The guest in Episode 46 is vibraphonist, marimba player, and composer Masayoshi Fujita. After 13 years in Berlin, he recently moved to a new home and studio in the Japanese mountain village of Kami-cho, where he creates music amidst nature.
He has released several albums on Erased Tapes, collaborates with artists such as Jan Jelinek, and composes music for film.
For the music in this episode, we improvised using elements of our own sound material, generating textures through disintegrated, asymmetrical loops and delays, as well as frozen, pulsating soundscapes.
