what happens if drei engel leave little leipzig/halle and fly out to the big wide world? they still share music with each other & the internet; just in a slightly different way!!
from this summer onwards until 27, all of us are living/studying abroad at the same time, which means that we will each perform a solo show recorded live from the different cities we temporarily call home
in this episode, it’s Gladee‘s turn::: broadcasting from the westernmost point of mainland europe aka lisbon, portugal. in this episode, she highlights portuguese and brazilian artists, carried by field recordings from madeira, creating a sound collage that tries to capture feelings of arrival/goodbyes, new beginnings and feeling somewhat lost but happy but sad at the same time
this is how reddit user Regolas1 explains the meaning of the portuguese word saudade:
Its pain and joy at the same time. Its hot and cold, sweet and sour. It’s all of this because you are longing for someone or something and you are suffering, but you’re also happy that it happened and nostalgic about it
um anjo tem saudades dos seus outros dois </2
