Coolkid2000 spent their childhood listening to the Masia radio station and later, Nightcore edits on the internet.
Their hometown, Benidorm (Alicante), has left its mark on them and is perfectly reflected with the use of fast bpm, bakala and essentially high pitched voices that make a mark on each of their sessions, filling them with melodies that are fondly remembered and basses that reverberate in the heart.
Today Coolkid2000 explores the balance between these sounds and the influences they are receiving from their friends and the musical scene in Barcelona. They are currently a resident DJ in Barcelona’s “Me Siento Extraña” collective.
In this mix, Coolkid2000 experiments with a variety of sounds and genres, creating a vibrant yet experimental atmosphere. The mix goes beyond simple transitions, blending tracks seamlessly trying to create a dynamic and danceable experience. Always with their signature high pitched voices.
