“Old Dirty Laundry” is kind of a laundromat for dirty ears. The finest beats and Hip Hop records are routinely used in a spin cycle and the familiar crackling of the record leaves a comfortably warm feeling, like a fresh pair of socks.

Tribute to Eryka Badu
Going from disco to breakbeat, I lead you into a world of funky and bouncy sounds. Influenced by dancing, singing and art, I curate colourful, playful and genre-bending sets. It’s all about heating up the dancefloor and making people happy! Music is liberation and self-empowerment. By DJing, I can process my emotions. I always curate my sets similar to an art exhibition. At the beginning there is a theme or feeling, usually this is taken up as a motif in the opening, peak and at the end. On this mix, Eryka Badu creates the opening with dialogue from “Next Lifetime” and the set ends with a UK garage edit of Badus’ “Can I call you back.” A big shoutout goes to my DJ sis ma:sa for creating the sky breaks edit of Playboi Cartis´ song (min. 11.30).
