For this show, I bring you a beautifully sharped mix from Artem Krapivin. Artem comes from Far East (Siberia) and, by his own words, has found Porto to be a colder place, but at the same time a much warmer ground for sharing music.
For him, the whole city is a ten-minute walk, and during these short crossings he meets all of Porto’s record-shop souls, many of whom become fascinated by his patience to get that one record that is always there…
A former radio host and a true lover of weirdo sonorities and everything in between, Artem has a deep sensitivity toward sound. I want to thank him for bringing his musical universe and emotional openness to Portugal, and for sharing his passionate vision with all of us.
This mix is a beautiful example of how Artem thinks about music and the act of communicating it, with one hour of unexpected waves, going from introspective to uplifting compositions, and inviting us into a unique, psychedelic journey.
