Mara is a composer and curator based in Eora / Sydney. She plays the viola and collaborates with her laptop to create live performances and recorded pieces for film, dance, and gallery spaces. Informed by interactions and perspectives within environments, her work questions the coexistence and understanding between those who inhabit them.
Mara will be touring her latest album At Every Corner throughout Europe in April – June 2025 following residencies at Visby International Centre for Composers and EMS Stockholm.
Mara’s concerts were part of a Sphere show before. We are thrilled that our radio station is now part of her European Tour and that she will perform live outdoors on Saturday, June 7, at the Sphere Radio Container. The relaxed afternoon event will take place from 5-8 pm. Feel free to stop by after your walk, and bring your friends and kids – admission is free!
