Marc Matter has been working artistically and researching the musicality of languages for about fifteen years. Employed initially as a founding member of the “Institut für Feinmotorik” (and later the “Durian Brothers” in the area of the Salon des Amateurs), he dealt with rhythmic noise, music and sound art. Today he is primarily focusing on compositions for radio, in which the spoken language is processed, alienated and cored in different ways. In this program, Marc Matter talks to Markus Stein about his work and is presenting some excerpts.
