We have great news! There will be a regular newsletter from now on, in which we will inform you about news and events and everything important happening at Sphere Radio, announce new shows, and select monthly picks that the editorial crew has on rotation.
Sphere Radio airs now daily from 9am to 11pm. We’re currently streaming past episodes under the program title “Mystery Restreams”—just in case you were wondering what that was all about. We will change this soon so you can see in the daily program which show will be aired.

Container Opening
The Sphere Radio Container will be open again this summer! As in past years, there will be lots of events, live radio programs, and fresh drinks at our kiosk. The dates will be announced in time.
The opening event will be on Friday, 05.06. 2026 from 5pm to 10pm. Music and drinks will be brought to you by Sphere Radio and friends.

New Shows
We have a lot of new shows, which is wonderful! Two of them are:
Radio Maqam
Jess brings to you great Arabic, Turkish and Persian music, and more. ‘Maqam’ refers to melodic modes, which are characteristic for this music and which make it distinct from western music. We’ve fallen in love with
this show!
Monthly every fourth Thursday from 7pm to 8pm.
NDADT w/ rENFTLA
rENFTLA says, “the sirens have fallen silent—only the hum of collapse remains. What follows is not a warning; it’s more of an invitation. Do you dare?” We definitely do! A radio show featuring dark ambient, (rhythmic) noise, industrial and post-apocalyptic soundscapes.
Streaming monthly every fourth Thursday from 10pm to midnight.
Monthly Pick
Sphere Radio resident for years and editorial crew member Multi Max
starts our little series with his current favorite show.
“Main Ingredient” is one of the longer running shows on Sphere Radio, airing regularly since at least 2022 (no one really knows). Hosted by Lino Rex, the show usually features monothematic mixes by guests from Leipzig and beyond, and they are always worth a listen! One of my recent favorites is episode #45, titled “French Layers” mixed by Nora, from October last year. It really captures the nostalgic side of summer; check it out!
