Sound Ecology is a programme that approaches the broad field of ecology creatively through sound. It synthesizes ideas from the sound studies with those from the environmental sciences in order to engage new perspectives on Listening practices in the Anthropocene. It explores relevant writings, documents and artworks in order to relate to a broad range of different listening practices which encourage a transdisciplinary approach to environmental issues.Peer artists, scientists and sound professionals contribute their work and knowledge to the programme.
