Lauryn fell in love with techno and the many expressions within the genre when she stumbled into DVS1’s warehouse in Minneapolis roughly 7 years ago. She believes if you were to peel back the layers within techno, you would find jazz, experimentalism, ambient music, etc. This mix aims to extract those micro-expressions within that sphere, and arrive at the heart-space from which all music can come from. This mix is a love letter to those experiencing pain and yearning for hope; a whisper in your ear to keep holding on.
