ZENA presents LØU #21

LØU (20+) is a German – American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Utrecht, Netherlands. Mostly known for her night life persona as Techno DJ JOEY LOU and co-founder of ZENA. She releases own productions and compositions under her singer-songwriter Alias LØU. Shaped through R&B, Indie and acid electronics she presents her most honest and unfiltered self with a hunch of ironic self criticism.

PARADIIISE

,,Tonight I am digging up something special from my personal Archive. The incredibly talented Graphic Designer Wangxoo invited me in 2022 to compose and produce the music to his short film PARADIIISE . The concept itself is built on the Artistic Theme “Everything Changes”. 

We played, explored and influenced each others practices creating a 25 min audio-visual movie called PARADIIISE. I was given a script with images, poems & theories and was asked to translate it into a electronic compositions & soundscapes.“

PARADIIISE is the depiction  of en ever-changing imaginary utopian world. It is simply our dreams, ambitions and goals. We all have an idea of what we want. Unexpected things happen and we are challenged to edit, change and adapt to it and start all over again.

The story is divided in 3 chapters. To give your ears some guidance and inspirations I will display the titles for you below:
