Not only in the context of so-called “lateral thinking” protests, conspiracy narratives are again increasingly rampant. Supposed explanations around the Corona pandemic are all too often charged with racism and anti-Semitism, there are overlaps with esotericism and anthroposophy and – especially in Saxony – with the (extreme) right. Together with Rika and Toni from the debunk project of the Amadeu Antonio Foundation, we therefore explain: how do conspiracy ideologies work, what dangers do they hold and what can be done? The natural scientist Julia Fröhlich will also give us an overview of conspiracy ideology platforms, media and actors in Leipzig and the region.
