Every third day in Germany, a woman is killed by her (ex-)partner. In public discourse, this crime is far too rarely called what it is: a feminicide. On the occasion of November 25 – the day against violence against women – we talk with #keinemehr Leipzig, Women for Women and Heinz-Jürgen Voß (Professor_in for Sexual Science and Sexual Education at the HS Merseburg) about sexualized violence, feminicides and the patriarchal structures of our society. It is about the work in the women’s shelter, feminist activism and why the fight against sexualized violence should not be exclusively about cis women.
