As “Sinnthese”, Jakob Henneken makes the puppets dance and the 606 rattle. With nervous synth-pop and trivial-radical lyrics about motorway service stations, fine dust and delusions of grandeur, the Punch and Judy is suspended between thesis and antithesis. His odyssey has taken him across Germany and to festivals such as Papiripar, Off The Radar and the Kampnagel Summer Festival.
In addition to musical works for film, performance and radio plays, there are releases on Gagarin Records, Component Recordings and an upcoming EP on Storage Records. Sinnthese” is currently on tour in East Germany, playing in Berlin, Leipzig, Halle and Chemnitz.
