This Episode’s guest is Ana Bogner. Ana released several EPs with her solo project and is working as a musician and sound artists in different projects. Together with Arpen she created the project „Abogar“. They released a record in October 2019 called „1967/People“, an abstract and exiting mixture of soundcollages, spoken word and drone sounds. Her next project is a genre-bending collaboration of four duos, formed by musicians of different countries – in August 2020, an album with the music created in this project will be released.
Lately, Ana is looking particularly into arab music, which also was a great source of inspiration for this Episode. Recordings of Ghalia Benali and Naseer Shamma, as well as Anas work with the musician Karam Saad gave impulses for the music we created.
