This episode’s guest is musician and writer Jana Sotzko. She’s active in countless projects and, amongst others, founded the groups Soft Grid and Epiphany Now. With her solo project „Point No Point“, she released 2019 her album „Drift“ via Späti Palace and Katuktu Collective. Right now she works on the follow up-record.
Furthermore she is a composer and sound artist for theater, dance and performance-art.
The music in this episode is inspired by the Voyager Golden Record. This phonograph record was included aboard both Voyager spacecraft 1 and 2, launched in 1977. As messages to extraterrestrials, and as a proof for the human existence, they include sounds, greetings and a selection of music. As a starting point to our set of music, we used selected samples of this compilation.
