ConcertToGoTape and OnlineRadioShow with Lotus Edde-Khouri & Jean-Luc Guionnet and Simone Weißenfels

The  concert series “Lile” comes to your living room

Due to the current situation, the concerts of the popular Lile concert series for experimental music will not take place. Nevertheless, you don’t have to miss out on enjoying the concerts.

Our idea: “Concerts to go”. On the one hand we will stream a radio show with our artists and on the other hand tapes with recordings of our artists will be available for a donation.

The radio show with the interpreters of the Lile concert series will run on 19.12. at 8pm on the Leipzig radio platform Sphere-Radio (https://sphere-radio.net/en/). The tapes can be ordered until 30.12.2020. On 30.12 we will produce the number of ordered cassettes to send you the “concert to go” home. In addition, you will get a download link so you can listen to the music immediately or without a cassette player.

The tapes and more information can be found at http://lile.leipzixp.org/to-go/.

Lotus Eddé Khouri & Jean-Luc Guionnet

Lotus Eddé Khouri works on performances, shows and videos in which dance, always reduced to its simplest apparatus. With other practices, these are combined and situations, daily or unique, are handed over in space and mood with the desire to experience the friction of time. This creates the possibility of multiple attentions, for the- and the one who watches.
Jean-Luc Guionnet studied plastic arts at the Sorbonne and then devoted himself to music and sound art, through acousmatic
compositions, instrumental compositions, instrumental improvisation on saxophones, electronics and organ.

Simone Weißenfels is one of the most distinguished and versatile East German artists in the field of contemporary and classical music as well as in the fields of improvisation up to ambient and noise. She studied at the Leipzig Academy of Music as well as in Moscow with Prof. A. A. Alexandrov. She often works across genres and moves in the areas of contemporary and classical music, jazz, improvisation to electronica. Since 1999 she has been teaching piano with the Thomanerchor of the city of Leipzig and for many years also at the Schule Neue Musik.
