The concert series “Lile” comes to your living room:
Due to the current situation, the concerts of the popular Lile concert series for experimental music will not take place. Nevertheless, you don’t have to miss out on enjoying the concerts.
Our idea: “Concerts to go”. On the one hand we will stream a radio show with our artists and on the other hand and on the other hand tapes with recordings of our artists will be available for a donation.
The radio show with the interpreters of the Lile concert series will run on 12/18 at 8:00 pm here. The cassettes can be ordered until 30.12.2020. On 30.12 we will produce the number of ordered cassettes to send you the “concert to go” home. Additionally you will get a download link, so you can listen to the music immediately or without a cassette player.

Christine Abdelnour and Pascal Battus met in Paris ten years ago, and have been performing as a duo ever since. The mixture of their sounds is unmistakably successful, absolutely fascinating and an assault on the senses. In the duo Pascal plays his own creation: rotating mini-platforms consisting of small motorized components taken from the inside of old Walkmans. These act as stimuli on various objects, such as paper, plastic, and pieces of wood or metal, which in turn act as vibrators. Christine has a very personal language with extended techniques and complex patterns that she uses to explore the microtonal aspects of the saxophone, or high tones. She creates sophisticated tongue tricks, breathy breaths, spitting growls, biting and cutting sounds, or breathy echoing sounds from the bell of her instrument.
Chris Weinheimer & Cornelia Friederike Müller aka CFM are dedicated to musique concrète. This has from the beginning with the recording and
and processing of found sounds and with electronic sound generation. From the real existing sounds and everyday noises the abstract, musical composition is created.
