This week brings us NY-based DJ Cardamami, a DJ I’ve been a fan of for a little while now. A little about them –
DJ Cardamami (https://www.instagram.com/djcardamami) is a Brooklyn based DJ. They draw inspiration from their Afro-Caribbean & South Asian roots. They are the co-host of @yalla.yeehaw a party featuring Arab pop, Bhangra, & other Southwest Asian, North African, & South Asian sounds and the host of Spicy Trax, a bi-weekly radio show for @playgroundradio
This mix they sent us features a colorful spectrum of Caribbean-flavored offerings, working through club RnB, dancehall, soca, chutney, and much more. Highly danceable and joyous vibes throughout. Enjoy!
