Pre-Reading by students of the HMT & HGB Leipzig on Sphere Radio
Reading aloud has become somewhat old-fashioned. But why is that? Just now we want to try a new
kind of radio format in which texts are presented as texts only and which – without overloading them
with any specific intension – just puts them out into the space. Into the cold, into the nothing.
Because in the beginning was the Word …
Therefore we read out Anton Čechovs volume of stories „Angst: Sieben Geschichten von der Liebe“
(„Fear: Seven stories about Love“) for you and discuss the Pre-Read with you and our guests
afterwards. Maybe this way, we can take a journey together: from the cold into the warm. And –
during this cold times – we all could use some warm thoughts. The first episode will air on
WEDNESDAY the 27th May 2020 at 7.30 pm! After that, the show will continue on a weekly basis.
