In Rememberance of all victims of Fascism. We are playing songs written and sung in concentration camps, gettos and the resistance. No Forgiveness, No Forgetting!

On the occasion of this year’s Holocaust Remembrance Day, we are dealing with the darkest chapter in German history. During the National Socialist dictatorship, Jews, other minorities and dissenters were persecuted and deliberately exterminated. In the labor and concentration camps, people were constantly undersupplied, worked to the point of complete exhaustion and were subjected to harassment by their supervisors. In medical facilities they were tortured, forcibly sterilized and subjected to horrific human experiments. These and other atrocities must continue to be remembered in order to enable a process of coming to terms that will never allow such an injustice to happen again. Especially because more and more eyewitnesses are leaving us, it is our task to keep this warning coming to life. In this program we play songs that were created in the concentration camp, which address the suffering of the victims and have enriched the anti-fascist struggle. We dedicate this show to one of the great anti-fascists, Esther Bejarano, who unfortunately passed away last year. Esther, thank you very much for your strength and commitment. We will continue your fight!
