For some years now, there has been a new trend of queer pop music in pop and dance-pop, whose representatives are conquering the mainstream bit by bit.
Artists like SOPHIE, Charli XCX, 100 Gecs or Arca bring not only new and different sounds into the world of pop music, but also queer bodies and aesthetics. Some of these artists can be categorized in the genre of Hyperpop, others move only loosely around it.
In this show we want to introduce you to some of these artists and their music and explore the potential of these new sounds and aesthetics.
