This episode’s guest is Peter Piek. As a painter, musician, songwriter, multiinstrumentalist, author and performance artist, he is known for his intermediality. As a solo artist he produced several albums, amongst others “The Time Travelling”, which was recorded in the Trans-Siberian Railway.
The music in this episode was inspired by the concept of graphic notation. While recording, we used video-synthesizers, which visualized the music while we played. We tried to apply these visual impulses as an inspiration to our music.
