#2 Queer Bodies – Mehr als nur Gerede

This episode is about gender, being queer in Dresden and Saxony (and beyond), the ultimate need to hit it with a hammer, open hearts and utopia.

We have Gerede e.V. from Dresden as our guests for an inspiring and touching interview. The association stands up for the rights of people who love and live diversely and therefore come into conflict with society. Gerede is a place of encounter in Dresden: it offers counselling opportunities for queer people, facilitates a space for group meetings and organises events.

The second episode is enriched by two poems by Nello that reached us through our Open Call. At the end there will be another small body session (which you can leave out, as always), this time with some movement.

Trigger warning: themes that will be present are LGBTIQA* hostility, experiences of discrimination and violence. If you feel that today is not the right day to listen to this episode, you can always listen to it another day. Or maybe it doesn’t feel good to listen to this episode in general. Both, live on the radio and in the stream: turn off the episode if you don’t feel well while listening!

The episode is in German.
