Together with Leipzig sound artist Anna Schimkat, students from a wide variety of disciplines at the Burg in the summer semester 22 approached composing with noises, language and tones.
The question “how do space, time and sound become an auditory experience?” was answered with specially produced sound pieces. The movement between places, the digestive process, rats, the war, swarms, the origin, water and a sounding suit are themes of the artists’ audible inside view of the outside world.
