Hi. For this new Carte Branche, I’m in the studio with Malo Moray. He introduces himself like this:
Hi, I’m Malo – I’m a double bass player, composer and bandleader
of my ambient-kraut-jazz project Malo Moray & His Inflatable Knee. For me, playing is about just that – playing. I’m curious to discover what I didn’t know before. My thoroughly experimental, contemporary music is therefore more about musical adventures for me. Even though I deal a lot with free improvisation, I feel myself above all as a storyteller. In my activities, I want to show how great it feels to connect with oneself and to give voice to one’s own expression.
The easiest way for me to do that is through music.
