Musician, composer, performer, director, born 1964 in Saarbrücken. Freelance since 1985, first in Cologne, then from 1998 in Leipzig. Since 1991 stage music, music for experimental videos, dance theatre and absolute music. Numerous productions with Anna Badora, Markus Dietz, Beat Fäh, Jens-Daniel Herzog, Burghard Klaussner, Thomas Langhoff, Jochen Ulrich, Till Weinheimer and others at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, Schauspiel Leipzig, Schauspiel Bonn, Freiburger Theater, Oper Köln, Staatsschauspiel Dresden, Residenztheater München. Works in the independent scene with “Theater Hora” Zurich, “men in emotion” and as a director with “Theater PlanB”, “Fata morgana”, Theater R.A.M.
Ensembles in the border area of new music, improvised music, compositions for chamber ensembles, curatorial work within the framework of “Systemkritik/Materialausgabe”, a monthly series of events in the border area of performance, concert, dance, theatre at the “Lofft” in Leipzig and for the “Neue Dresdner Kammermusik”. Together with Patrick Franke “findings”, a series of events on the subject of “field recording”/sound art/phonography. 2020 three new CDs with Ole Schmidt and Andreas Nordheim, one of them for the Wandelweiser label.
