The third episode examines magazines as archives of repetition. Due to its serial appearance, the magazine can be understood both as a single issue and as part of a series. Historical dis/continuities of different social discourses can be retraced and analyzed browsing through the sequence of the magazines. Looking at Schöner Wohnen we analyze, how representation of gendered (care-) work are shaped through repetition and how thematic archives produce internalized knowledge and functions of (self-)control of the dwelling subject.
