Malo Moray & His Inflatable Knee is the Experimental Kraut Jazz collective founded by Martin ‘Malo’ Riebel in 2020. Malo Moray’s most recent work focuses the relationship between human individuals, humankind, nature and the spiritual cosmos, based on a poem by Walt Whitman. In this ominous and comforting experimental ambient piece Malo Moray & His Inflatable Knee combine the elements of Jazz, Kraut, Neo-Classical music and poetry recital with upright bass, tapes, voice, electronics and countless other sound sources. The broadcast of this piece will be followed by a tape release the next day, which will be distributed for free on lanterns posts all over the city of Leipzig the day after airing.
