Join us on the airwaves again today at 7 pm on Sphere Radio.net! We show an exclusive video production of the incredibly funny and talented dada synth-punk band Baumarkt from Chemnitz. They are still in the postproduction of the video, so we don’t know either what is coming for us. However, we do know that it will be good and that the video will be followed by a live stream of Dj Maik. It’s almost as he breathes music being a resident at mjut and one of the heads behind Jena’s Solid Rotation while also co-running the newest record store in Leipzig Sleeveplusplus. He will tie in with the dada and punk attitude of Baumarkt, throw in some funk for good measure and take us on a trip to the sound that emanated from Düsseldorf and Wuppertal in the early 80ies and would go on to become famous under the label of ‘Neue Deutsche Welle’.
